The NLWaterland app gives you all the nautical information and tourist information for the Dutch waters. For the water sports enthusiast and the water recreationist. The NLWaterland app can be used in combination with de NLWaterland charts, travel guide and educations guides.

The NLWaterland app uses your current GPS location and has a filter option. With the filter option you can select on the tourist and nautical information you want to see, based on your wishes and your current GPS location.
You can use the NLWaterland app in 4 languages: Dutch, English, French and German

The nautical information consists of:
- SOS emergency function
- Opening times of bridges and locks including telephone numbers
- Clearance heights of fixed bridges and in closed positions
- Landing stages and slipways
- Water depth and buoys
- Marinas including facilities and fuel points
- Possibility of marking waypoints
- Possibility of giving feedback

The tourist information consists of:
- Information about the best cities and villages by the water, including event calanders.
- Restaurants by the water, but also the restaurants from the Michelin guide, Bib Gourmand and Lekker 2019.
- Activities on and around the water: water sports, theaters, museums, zoo, golf courses etc.
- Overnight accomodation on and around the water: Hotels, B&Bs, campsites and holiday homes.
- Water sport shops, bike rental, boat rental, book stores, sport shops etc.
- And much more…

The NL Waterland app has a built-in feedback function. With this function users can pass on feedback. This feedback is always verified and updated during the season.
In this way the app is kept up to date.

Download and use the NLWaterland app for free. The extensive database with the most tourist information is free. All tourist information and nautical information can be activated in the app in two ways:

1. Activate with code
You can activate all the tourist informatie and nautical information in the app using the activation code you received when you purchased your physical NLwaterland product. You can buy the physical NLWaterland product in more than 200 shops throughout the Netherlands and online (bol.com). In the app you will find the nearest stores.

2. In-app subscription ***
You can also activate all the tourist information and nautical information for the whole of the Netherlands in the app by buying a 12-month subscription in the App Store. The 12-month subscription gives you access to the database with all the nautical information and all the tourist information from all over the Netherlands!

***Conditions 12 months in-app subscription

The 12-month subscription costs 39.99 Euro per month.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.
